Whats Going On

HAVE A GOOD TIME ALL OF THE TIME

Well now, two gigs popped up for me yesterday, and I seized the opportunities quickly. As my grandfather once told me when I was 13, “Never look stupid, because someone behind you wants your gig.”

He also said “Guitarists hate flat keys.” read more…

SECOND SIGNATURE PEDAL??

Here’s a purposely-cropped pic of my second signature pedal (still being worked on) by Rick Bethune at Checkered Pedals. This one is called Layers Of Time, and it’s a dual pedal that has delay on one side, and boost on the other. Went for the blue/orange colours like the front cover of my latest cd.

Once it’s in my hands, I will then do another demo video, and then get to use it live and in the studio.

It’s Xmas all over again, minus the stale fruitcake and useless sweater you never wanted.

I was not upset, but I was very taken aback because obviously it was a bolt out of the blue. I was a Soundgarden fan from back in the day, when I first heard them in high school (long before they were labelled a “grunge” band). My first impression was “Wow! It’s Black Sabbath with Robert Plant on vocals!” and I was a fan instantly. Chris  was a tremendous singer, very talented musician, and losing him at 52 is a travesty.

But on a better note… read more…

ANOTHER NICE RETURN TO THE BRIGHTON

Two years seems like an eternity in between playing certain rooms. Sure, I frequent Mexicali Live every so often, make a stop at Dingbatz, but for me, there’s one room that I always enjoy coming back to…

When I am allowed to play there, that is! read more…

CLEARING UP ANY CONFUSION

Been receiving some messages via Facebook from some people asking me “What band are you in?” and “Are you done with yours?” So let me clear things up here and now… read more…

NO SLEEP TIL BROOKLYN

Well, I can finally quote the Beastie Boys (not that I was ever a fan to begin with).
