Last night I was on Danny Coleman’s Rock On Radio show for a live interview. Normally I do them over the phone but it had been a while since I’d done Q&As on the fly. So I drove down to Hightstown, NJ to engage in good conversation.

Danny made everything feel very relaxed, didn’t feel like a typical interview. Sometimes I get a bit tense, as most artists will do, because interviews can be a bit nerve-racking. But this was great, we chat about the new album, talked about my influences, some people called in too. That was really cool.

One of the questions Danny asked me was about the first band I ever played in. I won’t go into detail here but I did say that we sucked HAHA! But it was a great jumping-off point for me when I was 15, in that I convinced myself “I can do this for a living!”

What was I thinking?!

But it really was great, very casual, a lot of laughs. That’s how life should be in general.

Now who wants tickets for my Starland Ballroom gig on September 27???
