JULY 7TH SHOW NOT HAPPENING…

This morning I made the decision to pull out of the July 7th show at Cluett-Schanze Memorial Park. Because I was unable to find a fill-in drummer like I had hoped, I had no choice but to bow out. (Don’t worry, the shows for July 28 and August 11 are still happening!)

Onto better news…

Had rehearsal the other night with Cara Crash and her band, and as always, a good time was had by all. Lots of laughs, and of course lots of LOUD garage rock, which made me forget for two hours what a shit week I’ve been having. (It’s called life, I think?) This will be my fourth fill-in gig with Crash NY and it will be at Brighton Bar. But wait…

Did they ask me to fill in for a FIFTH show in July? Oh indeed they did…

Not only will I be playing Dingbatz on July 28th with my band, but the week before on July 21st, I will be playing with Crash NY at the same venue. Her band is opening for NJ punk legends The Undead, so this will be a wild show! Cara’s band is playing on July 28th at Roxy And Duke’s, and since I am already committed to my show, I said I would ask around for any lead guitarists that can fill in on this night for her. You can find her on Facebook and Reverbnation and drop her a line under Crash NY.

I know this seems rather confusing, but as I said in a previous blog, my music comes first. I am glad to be able to help Cara out when I can, as well as still play in Mary’s Basement when they get shows. But my main goal for 2017 is to get my new album out by the end of the year.

That’s my story and I’m sticking to it!
